I am secretly hoping for more snow tonight, so that I can work from home tomorrow morning and possibly find some time to fold these adorable three-dimensional origami cakes. The package includes a strawberry cream cake, chocolate cake, cream pie, strawberry shortcake, Mont-Blanc, and a pair of silver tongs. Much more fun than doing my office paperwork!
These are three of my favorite winter products...
The Olay Ultra Moisture In-Shower Body Lotion with Shea Butter keeps my dry skin hydrated by working in my warm shower instead of having to slather myself with cold lotion.
The thought of using an oil cleanser on my occasionally oily skin seemed like bad idea, but Shu Uemura Skin Purifier High Performance Balancing Cleaning Oil dissolves makeup and other pore-cloggers and leaves my sensitive skin softer and clearer. And in the winter, this product keeps the flaky dry patches away.
I took a travel size of the Frédéric Fekkai Glossing Creme with Pure Olive Oil to Las Vegas and this product eliminated flyaways and kept my hair soft and moisturized... even with the dry heat and lack of humidity. Now it is my go-to product when my hair feeling a bit parched.

Last year I had a Sanrio calendar that came in a little flip CD case that I loved. Unfortunately, this year I couldn’t find a similar calendar anywhere! I finally decided to stop searching and reuse the CD jewel case by printing and laminating these templates featured in Blueprint to create a desk calendar for this year. I don’t know why I never thought to make my own templates to create a calendar to fill the case sooner!
While I was upgrading my system software for my pocket pc phone, I had a sinking feeling that I should have backed up my files before starting the upgrade. And of course once the upgrade was complete, I realized that I had lost all my data… including contact information for friends and family. Sigh… I am off to try to recover and rebuild my files…
Grrr! It is so frustrating, not to mention disappointing, when you are watching a movie on DVD and the disc is scratched or is otherwise unplayable… especially when you are already halfway through the movie. Now I am waiting for Blockbuster Online to mail me a replacement DVD. I should have just hopped in the car and drove to Blockbuster to exchange the movie since I have the Total Access Premium plan with unlimited in-store movie exchanges. Grrrr! Grrrr!
My little sister now has a blog of her own! Visit and read all about my adorable niece at her supercute blog.
I love the vegetable-based, triple-milled Gianna Rose Atelier soap products. The soaps come in various molded shapes and are beautifully packaged to give as gifts or keep for yourself. I’ve already decided on the seashell soaps in apothecary jar for my downstairs guest bathroom, but I can’t decide which others to purchase. There’s just so many that I want!
