My week in review...

Buying...

Hp_laptop

A new HP laptop... seriously, I didn’t need a new one... especially since we just bought a new desktop computer, but I just had to have one. No more electronics shopping for me for a while... I am turning into such as gadget geek! Image courtesy of hp.com.

Eating...

Cf_marsala

Chicken Marsala and Mushrooms at the Cheesecake Factory... Yum!

Clay_art

Clay Art for All Seasons. I have wanted to take classes at the DECO Clay Art Academy in Honolulu for a while... and now even more so, since my Mom sent me this book to drool over. I am hoping to stop by and take a class while I am on vacation in Hawaii this month. Image courtesy of decoclay.com.

Watching...

As_the_world_turns

Watching As The World Turns every day after work is definitely one of my guiltiest pleasures. I have watched this show ever since I was a little girl because my Mom is also addicted to this long-running soap opera. I have literally grown up watching this show! Image courtesy of cbs.com.

Palm_airplane

Sorry for the lack of posts, I’ve been keeping busy both at work and at home in preparation of our upcoming vacation back to Hawaii. I can’t wait... we leave Friday morning for a little over a week of fun in the sun! The only bummer about the whole trip is having to board our kitty at the vet while we are away. Hopefully he won’t be too lonely for us!

Rand_mcnally_fabmap

These Rand McNally fabMaps are fun microfiber maps that can help you find your way in more than 20 U.S. cities. The handkerchief-size maps are tear-proof, wrinkle-proof, and waterproof. I’m checking out the Chicago Magnificent Mile version since I am hoping to travel there someday soon.

White_tea_potpourri

Headed over to Cost Plus World Market today to do a little shopping. While there, I spotted this yummy smelling White Tea Stacked Vase Potpourri. I also picked up this pandan magazine basket in natural. I love shopping for household goodies!

Lego_beach_house

I don’t think you can ever be too old to play with Lego. And I’m definitely not too old to add this Lego Creator Beach House set to my shopping wish list. Three different structures can be built from the same set of bricks, including this beach house complete with skylights, barbecue grill with chicken, and satellite dish.

Target_retote_ad

Rather than tossing my entire April 14 issue Newsweek magazine into the recycling bin, I carefully removed the cover, folded it to create an envelope, and stuffed the pouch with plastic Target shopping bags to receive my coupon for a free Retote bag. Target has partnered with TerraCycle, a eco-capitalism company, and Newsweek to turn these plastic bags into the reusable Retote bags. I am looking forward to picking up my Retote bag soon!

Spring_snow

From last weekend’s sunny and warm 70 degree weather to snow flurries overnight. The weather this spring season is quite unpredictable!
